Thursday Boot Company’s mission is simple: ridiculously high quality footwear at honest prices that can handle busy New York City life. The company partners with world-renowned suppliers and highly skilled artisans to craft carefully handmade footwear. After establishing a strong e-commerce presence, the brand announces its first brick-and-mortar location located at 65 Mercer Street. Open today, the pop-up will be open seven days a week for the next six months, offering all styles including the brand’s dress shoes and new women’s line.
Just a few months into his position as the newly minted director, it’s clear that Christopher Scoates was the right man for the job at the Museum of Arts and Design. MAD, as it’s known, is New York City’s champion and presenter of artists, designers, and artisans at the highest level of ingenuity and craftsmanship.
