For thirty-eight years, the Fragrance Foundation has been celebrating the annual “FiFi” Awards, the so-called “Oscars” of the fragrance world.
The most recent FiFi Awards, held at the Downtown Armory in New York City on June 10, was attended by more than one thousand members of the international fragrance community—among them this year’s top honoree, Michael Kors, plus “Male Celebrity Fragrance of the Year” recipient Usher, and “Retailer of the Year” Bath & Body Works.
The foundation presented awards for “Editorial Excellence” in Fragrance Coverage to Allure, Elle, and Elle.com for outstanding fragrance articles, and “The Technological Breakthrough of the Year” award to Victorinox Swiss Army for its packaging technology and delivery system, which allows one to easily create a travel-size bottle of the fragrance with a refillable tool.
The Fragrance Foundation carefully and decisively gave awards in twenty sensational categories.
