Step into diptyque’s latest stateside store at 242 Mott Street and you’ll enter into an elegant marketplace of scent and sight. Exquisitely styled, recalling elements of the original 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain boutique in Paris, the NoLIta location showcases founders and designers Christiane Gautrot, Desmond Knox-Leet, and Yves Coueslant’s fabrics and wallpaper creations. The new boutique is literally the brick and stone embodiment of a perfume bottle, stylishly housing diptyque’s scents.
Diptyque introduces clients to unique and fresh fragrances, that in the spirit of the first Parisian boutique, are ever evolving, dynamic finds, while giving a nod to classics, like their legendary unisex L’eau. All products, including seasonal and limited collections available in the Paris location, also reside in the NoLIta location.
Patrons experience a luxurious voyage through the chic, yet lively Mott Street store, receiving in-depth advice on custom scent combinations and taking home goods carefully and lovingly wrapped in silk paper—all the while wafting through a deliciously perfumed environment.
