A Neat New Spirit by BACARDÍ Stands on its Own

Whiskey isn’t the only spirit best served sans mixers. In fact, BACARDÍ rums often boast the same level of depth and character as a whisky or scotch that is aged twice or three times as long. Part of its new portfolio of premium rums and comprised of four expertly crafted barrel-aged liquors—BACARDÍ Añejo Cuatro, Reserva Ocho, Gran Reserva Diez, and Reserva Limitada—BACARDÍ Gran Reserva Diez is best served neat or on the rocks. Shedding rum’s image as a spirit meant only for sugary cocktails, the Gran Reserva Diez has a dark golden hue and boasts bright notes of banana, pear and tropical melon balanced with caramelized vanilla and oak.

That’s right, pour this liquor into a Rocks glass on its own or over ice—no garnish, sweetener, or mixer needed. With over 156 years of history, heritage, craftsmanship and authenticity behind each of its products, BACARDÍ has earned the respect and claimed the title of the most awarded rum in the world. The family-owned brand has been creating premium rums for dozens of years in collaboration with its deeply knowledgeable Maestros de Ron (Master Blenders), all carefully chosen and trained in seven generations of rum-making expertise who then shape and carefully craft all of the products.

BACARDÍ premium rums are barrel aged undisturbed in tropical climates with every drop aged for the minimum number of years stated on the labels. Maturation occurs faster in warmer regions causing BACARDÍ rums to age faster than most whiskies or scotches, which are typically aged in cooler climates.
