A new type of tag sale

Have a piece of designer clothing you’ve never worn? Have 52? Today’s Wall Street Journal looks at the heaps of never-worn pieces that Christos Garkinos, co-owner of designer consignment empire Decadestwo, sifts through everyday. He’ll resell the merchandise—about 45% of which still has its tags—and split the profits with the seller 50/50. So, if you can’t resist that impulse buy, it may be wise to browse through Decadestwo’s 25-50% markdowns before browsing the Chanel boutique with that sweet saleswoman.
