Dining By Design Fundraiser Raises Awareness and More Than $700 Thousand for HIV/AIDS Organizations

Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA) hosted its annual Dining By Design fundraiser on March 22 through 26 at Pier 92 in New York City. Dining By Design—the design industry’s largest fundraiser to fight HIV/AIDS—gathers brands and designers to create exceptional tabletop vignettes.

Dining By Design raises almost $1 million annually, and this year was no exception. More than 30 designers and 40,000 guests attended this year’s fundraiser featuring brands like Benjamin Moore, Crate and Barrel, and Gensler.

“The HIV/AIDS epidemic continues to affect millions across the country and around the world. Dining By Design is DIFFA’s biggest fundraiser showcasing the most thought-provoking and creative installations, done by the industry’s greatest talent. The whole five-day event is a celebration of what we do best: dining, designing, and making a DIFFA-rence!”—Cindy Allen, DIFFA Board Chair and Editor-in-Chief, Interior Design.
