EMP Summer House Opens in East Hampton

This past weekend in East Hampton, American Express celebrated the grand opening of the highly anticipated EMP Summer House, the pop-up restaurant from Eleven Madison Park. As the exclusive partner of the EMP Summer House, American Express is the only form of credit card payment accepted at the restaurant, and an American Express card will be required to hold a reservation.

“Our Card Members are passionate about dining, and Eleven Madison Park is one of the most requested restaurant reservations, so we’re excited to be partnering with Daniel Humm and Will Guidara to bring our card members exclusive access to reservations and unique dining experiences at EMP Summer House in the Hamptons,” said Janey Whiteside, senior vice president and general manager of Global Charge Products at American Express.

EMP Summer House is located at 341 Pantigo Road in East Hampton and is open through Labor Day; Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays for dinner, and Fridays through Sundays for lunch and dinner.

“We could not be more excited to be bringing Eleven Madison Park to the Hamptons. In addition to giving us an opportunity to show our guests a more casual version of EMP, it’s also really fun for us to do as New Yorkers do, and head east for the summer. And getting to do this alongside our partners at American Express has been incredible—we have been coupling our creativity with theirs and coming up with some really fun ideas. It’s going to be a good one!” said restaurateur Will Guidara.

The seafood-heavy menu developed by Chef Daniel Humm in partnership with Will Guidara, will feature raw seafood preparations, flatbreads, pastas, steaks, and large format experiences like fried chicken dinners and lobster boils. “The menu for EMP Summer House will be more casual than what we serve at our Manhattan home, but still delicious. And guests can join us for a quick drink, a burger or lobster roll, or multiple courses and some great wines—there’s beautiful flexibility to the type of experience people can have here,” said Chef Daniel Humm.
