Every Mother Counts, and Kay Lee Knows It

OTTE, the New York–based luxury-lifestyle retailer, now with five boutiques throughout Manhattan, turns 15 this month, and Kay Lee, the brand’s visionary founder who was one of the pioneering retailers in Williamsburg, is celebrating by giving back. Lee has teamed up with Every Mother Counts, the non-profit organization founded by Christy Turlington Burns and dedicated to making pregnancy and childbirth safe for every mother, by giving 20 percent of qualified sales through the month of November. Proceeds will go directly to life-saving programs the organization supports to ensure mothers get access to care they need.

Last night, as part of the celebration, the two brands toasted the partnership with a VIP event at OTTE’s Tribeca boutique. “I am grateful for 15 successful years in business in New York City and all the support I have gotten,” Lee said. “I want to use this opportunity to support an organization with a great cause for women. As a women-owned and women-run company, we fully believe in their mission to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for women everywhere and want to be part of making change happen.”
