Kingside: Anniversary of New American in New York City

Soft Egg

On Monday, Chef Marc Murphy will introduce a menu to honor the one-year anniversary of Kingside—his restaurant with Gerber Group at 124 West 57th Street. Entitled the “One Year Of Kingside,” the meal is served at the chef’s counter, where diners can delight in the preparation.

The tasting begins with Rosemary’s Baby, a cocktail featuring Oxley gin with egg white, lemon, and rosemary-flavored syrup. Then, a feast of six courses with highlights including the Bay Scallop Crudo with winter squash, lime, and hazelnut; the Soft-Boiled Egg with caviar and crème fraiche; and the Wagyu Short Rib with celery root, bone marrow, and kale pesto. To sweeten the deal—which is $90 per person—the Île Flottant with crème anglaise and salted caramel.

“One Year Of Kingside” is available from November 3 to November 9—so don’t wait to call 212.707.8000 for a reservation! (As you walk to Kingside, be sure to gawk at the construction of One57 at 157 West 57th Street—as featured in the November 2014 “Real Estate” issue of Quest…)
