Moxy Hotel Opens in East Village

Following the successful openings of Moxy Times Square and Moxy Chelsea, Moxy East Village just opened in the heart of the East Village, embracing the rebellious spirit of the area where Rock’n’Roll, renegade art, LGBTQ activism, and generations of immigrants all merged to give birth to American counterculture.

Check-in at Moxy East Village

Designed by Rockwell Group, Moxy East Village features 286 cleverly designed bedrooms, an entertainment suite called Suite Jane, and multiple co-working spaces with fun and edgy graffiti elements. Four tempting new dining and drinking concepts operated by TAO Group include Cathédrale, a grand French-Mediterranean restaurant with a show-stopping wire mesh sculpture by Italian artist Edoardo Tresoldi, Alphabet Bar & Café in the lobby, and Little Sister, an exclusive and intimate basement lounge as well as a rooftop bar that will open in the spring.

Reimagining the past, present, and future of the East Village, immersive details are visible everywhere, from the elevators and check-in to wallpaper designs. These moments aim to transport to different eras of the East Village as they wander through the property.
