Richard Mishaan Reintroduces HOMER in New York City

Richard Mishaan understands the art of collecting. “I believe collecting is a commitment and the motivation behind a purchase should never be financial, but always about loving the piece,” says the world-renowned interior designer, architect, and curator.

This February, Mr. Mishaan will reopen HOMER—his celebrated New York City retail store that he closed in 2008—on the corner of University Place and 10th Street in downtown Manhattan. HOMER will feature a revolving collection of thoughtfully curated furniture, decorative accessories, and art which will be completely re-imagined every four months to reflect Mishaan’s design vision and a moment in time.

Following Mishaan’s mission, HOMER will be a resource for designers and aspiring collectors to find treasures at a variety of price points, enabling them to create one-of-a-kind collections. HOMER will feature designers such as Olivier Gagnère, Hervé Van der Straeten, François Champsaur, and Eric Schmidtt. Come take part in the thrill of collecting. HOMER is sure to fire up your enthusiasm for art and design.
