Yesterday, luxury footwear brand Sarah Flint opened its first retail pop-up in SoHo. Open through mid-December, the shop features wall-to-wall shoes and a blue and white color scheme inspired by Flint’s collection of vintage china. Flint worked with decorator Stacie Flinner to design the space using female-founded companies like The Lionesque Group, Oomph, Royal Copenhagen, Annie Selke, East Olivia, and Maman. Reflecting the brand’s emphasis on superior quality and Italian craftsmanship, the pop-up showcases the step-by-step process of making a shoe. Customers can drop off their Sarah Flint shoes for complimentary cobbler service, or donate a pair of gently worn shoes to receive a discount. All proceeds will be sent to Soles 4 Souls.
Sarah Flint launched her eponymous brand in 2013 at the age of 25 with a design ethos centered around style without sacrifice; she was frustrated that women had to choose between feeling good and looking great. Manufacturing in the world’s best factories outside of Milan, Sarah marries artisanal quality and innovative, comfort-driven design with functional elements to improve fit and durability.
In the fall of 2017, Sarah Flint transitioned from a traditional wholesale model with presence in top retailers like Barneys and Bloomingdale’s to take her brand entirely direct-to-consumer, allowing her to offer customers the best possible price-to-value ratio in the market. Sarah Flint quickly gained worldwide recognition and a loyal celebrity following, including Meghan Markle, Amal Clooney, Cindy Crawford, Lady Gaga, Jane Fonda, Karlie Kloss, Emma Watson, and more.
