Team Seleni Owns Their Strong at Mudderella, Racing to Support Maternal Mental Health on Mother’s Day Weekend

Team Seleni is getting muddy to spread awareness and support of maternal mental health including postpartum depression, anxiety, issues related to IVF and miscarriage, and parenting concerns. All 50 Team Seleni members are inspired by everything from infertility to postpartum depression, breastfeeding issues, miscarriage and grief. They’re “owning their strong” with every dollar raised going directly to support financial assistance for women who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford care.   2016 team recruitment is underway.

Seleni Institute is a non-profit organization based in New York City providing the care, information and research funding critical to supporting the mental health of both adult women and teenage mothers. The Seleni Institute believes that when mothers are supported, they are able to best care for themselves, their children, and their families.
