Last night, throngs of the beautiful people in art and fashion descended upon the OPENHOUSE gallery at the behest of Julia Restoin Roitfeld. The dress code ended up being either black leather hipster or center-of-attraction carnival wear, and the downtown vibe was set to the music commandeered by Leigh Lezark, DJing as part of The Misshapes.
The event was to celebrate a collection by Hunter & Gatti (the creative team behind luxury labels like Hugo Boss) of photography and paintings, titled “The Series.” The exhibition includes an array of their celebrity portraits featuring Bruno Mars, Poppy Delevingne, Rebecca Fergusson, and Douglas Booth alongside acrylic paintings over photograph canvases from editorials for Vogue and Flaunt.
The exhibit runs today and tomorrow, 9am to 7pm, at the OPENHOUSE gallery, 201 Mulberry Street.
