Leonard Nelson exhibition opening next week

Mark your calendars: Wally Findlay Galleries in New York will exhibit three decades of work from prolific New York Abstract Expressionist artist Leonard Nelson next Wednesday.

The avant-garde art educator, painter and printmaker broke ground with his breathtaking use of color in the 1960s and he continued to innovate new ideas in his art work and in his long teaching career, at Moore College of Art in Philadelphia.

“Leonard Nelson: Three Decades of Masterworks, 1960-1980” opens next Wednesday at the Wally Findlay Galleries, 124 East 57th Street.
