Come for dancing, drinks, support youth arts and education in South Africa, and revisit the 80s! On Thursday June 23rd, from 8pm until midnight, the Amy Biehl Foundation will be hosting an evening at Canal Room!
The Amy Biehl Foundation actively works to mitigate the effects of apartheid’s legacy in South Africa through youth education and the arts. Amy Biehl, a Stanford graduate and Fulbright Scholar, lost her life in the final days of apartheid in a violent hate crime. The foundation in her honor integrates arts and education in an effort to reconcile post-apartheid South Africa.
The event will not only include a top shelf open bar, hors d’oeuvres, door prizes, a raffle, and a silent auction, with all proceeds benefitting the foundation and their efforts, but also a special performance by Rubix Kube, the “ultimate 80s tribute band!”
We’d love to see you there!
